Ms. Heather Cottle

Ms. Heather grew up in Fountain Valley and attended the Fountain Valley School District for both elementary and middle school. She is so excited to be a team member in FVSD at Oka as the special education preschool teacher! She attended California State University, Long Beach where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies and a minor in American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. She then attended California State University, Fullerton where she earned her Early Childhood Special Education Credential and Master’s degree in Special Education. Ms. Heather has taught in an inclusion preschool program, a Special Day Class preschool classroom, as well as, a Special Day Class Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten classroom. She is honored to have the opportunity to work with children at the beginning of their educational journey and to watch them grow each day!
