How to borrow books:

Go to destinydiscover.com to view Oka’s library collection, both physical and electronic

Select our state, CA, and school, Oka Elementary.  

Then to log in and start borrowing books--click on "Login" in the upper right corner

User name: Your school email address

Password: Your student ID plus 00

Once you see a book you like, click on the book.  It will show you a box that says "place hold".  Click on that!  Your librarian will be alerted that you want this book!

Your librarian will pull this book from the shelves and deliver it to your teacher to hand out in class.

Library Policies:

• Students in grades K-4 can borrow two books at every checkout, 5th graders may borrow three books.
• Books that are lost or damaged must be paid for before a new book can be checked out.  Overdue notices will be sent out to remind you and your student to look for missing books.
• There are no fines for overdue books!
