Welcome
Ms. Lewis has been supporting students in special education for over ten years. She began
her career in Redondo Beach working as a paraprofessional. While working, she earned her
education specialist teaching credential from CSU Long Beach, specializing in mild to
moderate disabilities. In 2016, she accepted a position with Fountain Valley School District
as the education specialist at Masuda Middle School. Shortly after, she earned her Master's
in Special Education from the University of Massachusetts Global, specializing in teaching
and learning. Ms. Lewis is a second-generation teacher and as such, education has been a
major factor throughout her life. She knew she wanted to be a teacher since second grade
and started volunteering in middle school, tutoring in high school, and working at the
Access Center in college. She is excited to continue her journey in education by joining the
Oka Wolfpack!
